This summer, A Tribe for Jazz proudly sponsored 10 students from Columbus City Schools to attend the Otterbein Summer Music Experience — a weeklong residential camp focused on instrumental performance, music theory, and ensemble collaboration.

Opportunities like this are often out of reach for students in under-resourced communities. By removing financial and logistical barriers, we’re advancing equity in music education and opening doors for young artists to learn, grow, and shine.

Held on Otterbein University’s campus, the camp offered an inspiring blend of artistic rigor and community — culminating in a final performance that showcased both talent and transformation.
