Presented by A Tribe for Jazz in partnership with Columbus Dance Theatre and supported by the Ohio Arts Council, Sonic Motion is a bold interdisciplinary experience exploring the boundaries of improvisation across sound, movement, and visual art. Rather than asking audiences to observe from a distance, it invites them to step inside an evolving environment—where artists respond in real time and the experience unfolds moment by moment. The May 7th performance features: acclaimed saxophonist, Jon Irabagon; emerging electronic artist, Royal Tanguay, choreographer/educator, Afaliah Tribune, dynamic movement artist and educator, Benjamin Roach, and award-winning media artists John Cairns, and CG Ryan.
